THE INSTRUCTOR
Hi! I’m Lara Jade, I’m a British born fashion photographer and educator based in New York City!
I’m one of the lucky ones - I found photography in my teens. Little did I know my ambitious side project would turn into a fully fledged career in the fashion photography industry! I have been lucky enough to work with some of my dream clients, travel the world on assignments and meet some incredible people along the way.
My interest in becoming an educator started 10 years ago. When I first entered the photography industry there was no education on fashion photography. It felt untouchable. Almost as if there was a thick red curtain around the industry. I realized right then and there, I wanted to help make a change for the next generation of photographers.
My mission is to help portrait and fashion photographers see their potential and take charge of their businesses. I find helping other artists incredibly rewarding. I believe in community over competition. I want to help open that curtain for you & help you on your journey as a photographer navigating this industry! Whether you need help with creative direction, lighting, posing, styling or business/marketing techniques - I’ve got you covered!
