COVID-19 WORKSHOP POLICY

We are excited to start hosting in person workshops again and looking forward to connecting in person!

At Lara Jade Education, we are following current CDC / local guidelines and regulations in regards to COVID-19 and want to create a safe and comfortable environment for all of our attendees and staff.

Please read through the Covid protocols below thoroughly before booking and attending. Please only register for the workshop if you agree to these policies. If you have any questions regarding the information below, please contact us directly.

  • CDC & Local Guidelines & Event Changes - Lara Jade Education will be following CDC and local guidance for gatherings. These policies are subject to change with the new year and as new information is available. If at any point there are new restrictions that affect gatherings we will notify you as soon as possible. These changes may lead to workshop cancellations and we will try out best to notify all attendees ahead of time.

  • Refunds - We are unable to provide refunds if there is a workshop cancellation due to Covid-19 but all attendees will receive a credit equal to the workshop fee - this can be used for any future workshop or credit within the Lara Jade Education store. You may also gift the workshop seat to another attendee such as a friend or family (this will need to be approved by Lara Jade Education in advance).

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions regarding individual cancellations if you cannot make it to an event: www.larajadeeducation.com/terms-conditions.

  • Vaccination Status - All workshop participants must be fully vaccinated. We will ask to see proof of vaccination before you attend the workshop. No refunds or credits are given if you do not show proof of vaccination before the start of the event. If you are planning to get vaccinated in the near future you must receive your final dose of the covid vaccine more than two weeks before the start date of the event.
Lara Jade Education staff (assistants, models & creative teams) are all fully vaccinated.

Before the Workshop

  • We understand that a lot of attendees travel both locally and internationally and we encourage all attendees to be smart when traveling. Wear a mask on public transport, wash your hands regularly and maintain social distancing. Please follow all up to date travel safety recommendations.

  • If you prevented from traveling due to Covid-19 we are not responsible for travel or accommodation fees due to cancellation. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions regarding individual cancellations if you cannot make it to an event: www.larajadeeducation.com/terms-conditions.

During the Workshop

  • Temperatures will be taken on arrival. If you feel unwell prior to the workshop date (including fever, cough or colds) we ask you to let us know as soon as possible. It is up to you to be responsible and keep others safe!

  • You will be expected to wear a face mask covering your nose and mouth at all times during the workshops regardless of your vaccination status (with the exception when eating or drinking). We are following the US CDC guidelines (issued July 27, 2021) read about it here. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html

  • Social distancing must be maintained (recommended 6 feet). Please respect this when working with the models during demonstrations, staff and when working around fellow attendees. Again, we want to create a safe environment for everyone. We get it, we miss hugs and smiling faces and want to get back to them in the near future too!

  • Hand sanitizer will be available at all times and everyone should use it regularly through the workshop. Our staff will not handle or touch your equipment unless it is necessary and we encourage you to not touch any of the equipment on set. Staff members will be required to use sanitizer when handling shared equipment.

  • We will follow and adhere to any and all local guidelines and rules regarding COVID-19.

  • Catering will be given out as individual boxes and you are encouraged to maintain social distancing during mealtimes.

  • If an attendee or staff member exhibits symptoms of COVID-19, they will be removed from the group and be assisted in getting medical attention and/or testing. This could result in the termination of the event, solely at our discretion.

This policy will be updated as CDC & local guidance changes.
